CCEE1406 Paper Mosaic

Our Hostess for the month of February is Vicky Gould.  She has chosen some pretty challenging themes for us, and YOU!  The first of these is for today.....Paper Mosaic.  The technique is to cut little pieces of paper, and glue them down in a mosaic pattern, then stamp and cut out.

Here's my mosaic (and I hope you like it!)

I used  bits of yellow, orange, and rust paper, made my mosaic, then cut out the shape of Africa.  The dancer and sentiment are from Rubbernecker Stamps.  The brads are dark brown.... sort of hard to see, and the whole background is sponged in the three colors as well.

Please join us in this interesting technique, linking your card or project HERE.  See you again next week.

Anne, this is brilliant! I love your mosaic map in those hot African earth colours, and the dancer really captures the joy and energy I've seen in so many Africans. I always remember one New Year's Eve we celebrated in an African church hear - talk about joy and excitement!!
